- The MV Reef-Kist departs daily from the Marlin Marina - E Finger. The departure time is 7am meet at the boat, for a 7:30 departure. We do complimentary pick ups within the CBD area but outlying areas and the Northern Beaches there is a $10 return transfer fee, payable direct to the driver. Please add your accommodation in the space provided on the booking form and state that you would like a transfer in the comments section. Please confirm booking and hotel transfers prior to day of travel using the contact details provided on your booking confirmation.

Tour Description
Cairns Dive Centre can now offer you the best scuba diving on a day trip vessel to the Outer Great Barrier Reef. Our new vessel the MV Reef-Kist is licensed to carry 75 passengers in comfort and offers a fast 90 minute transfer to the Outer Barrier Reef. For extra comfort Cairns Dive Centre limits the combined diving and snorkelling passenger numbers to a maximum of 40 for our day trip to the Outer Great Barrier Reef.
This 2 day option combines two 1 day trips and provides for 4 training dives.
DIVING
The MV Reef-Kist departs daily from the Marlin Marina - E Finger and visits 2 different dive/snorkel locations daily from a choice of Milln, Briggs, Elford, Sudbury, Channel, Moore and Thetford Reefs, Outer Barrier Reefs approximately 66 kilometres from the coast of Cairns. The experienced Reef-Kist crew were selected for their local knowledge and love of the area and ocean. They will show you the best of the best dive and snorkel sites available off Cairns.
Dive Medicals are required, but are not included in our course price. (medicals required for open water course only)
Port, Reef anf Fuel Levy Charges are $40.00 per person.
