Tour Description
Our Kuranda Experience is a wonderful family day commencing with the original Kuranda Scenic Railway journey from Freshwater Station to Kuranda Village. Enjoy up to 3hrs in the village to explore the markets, arts and crafts, lunch or visit the wildlife sanctuarys (Koala Gardens, Birdworld, Butterfly Farm). Meet your courtesy transfer from the Visitor Centre shortly before 1:00pm for a quick ride to our farm.
Join a Horse Riding adventure through beautiful world heritage listed tropical rainforest, where you will encounter freshwater creeks, spectacular unspoilt mountain-top views, and an abundance of native wildlife and natural wonders. Tours operate in small groups with a maximum of 6 riders & accompanied by experienced guides & catering for all riding abilites. Along with our quiet and well behaved horses & ponies this is an adventure the whole family can enjoy.
To finish up the day, a 7.5km Skyrail rainforest cableway journey to Cairns makes for a wonderful ending, with amazing views of the Great barrier reef.
